Posting costs nothing and there's no monthly fee. When a new person messages you about a listing, a small amount comes out of your balance, based on what you sell and for how much.

During launch nothing is charged: not posting, not buyers.

How it works

  1. 1You post

    As many listings as you want. Having them costs you nothing.

  2. 2Someone messages you

    When someone messages you for the first time about a listing, that buyer's cost is deducted. It happens once per conversation: if they keep writing, you're not charged again.

  3. 3You sell

    You agree on payment directly with each other. Sterlix takes nothing from the sale.

How you pay

With a balance in US dollars that you add by card from your dashboard, starting at US$ 5. We add 20% extra to every top-up.

  • Your balance doesn't expire.
  • It's only used inside Sterlix, for the buyers who message you. It can't be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
  • Refunds follow the refund policy.

For services priced per hour, per month or negotiable, the cost is 1% of the price, between US$ 0.20 and US$ 15.

Questions about the cost

What counts as a buyer?
Someone who messages you by chat for the first time about an active listing. Public questions answered on the listing don't count.
Am I charged even if the person doesn't buy?
Yes: you're charged for the contact, not the sale. That's why it's a small amount and not a percentage of what you sell.
What if I change the price later?
The cost is calculated with the listing's price when they message you. Changing it later doesn't change what was already deducted.
Does buying cost anything?
No. Sterlix is free for buyers.
