How can we help?
Ask the Sterlix assistant. It knows the rules, pricing and verification, and if you're signed in it can also look at your listings.

Buying
Open the listing and tap Buy: a chat with the seller opens, where you agree on price, delivery and payment. Buying on Sterlix costs you nothing.
Ask is for questions before you decide: in public, where everyone sees the answer, or in private by chat. Buy opens the chat to close the deal with the seller.
Directly between you, however you agree in the chat: Sterlix doesn't charge or hold the money for the item. Before paying in advance, check whether the seller is verified and what their reviews say.
Once you agree, the seller sends you a ticket in the chat with the price and quantity. You accept or decline it right there; if you don't answer, it expires in 7 days.
For safety, while protection is on the chat doesn't let phone numbers, emails or other contact details through. If you both want to talk elsewhere, either of you can ask to remove it from the chat and the other accepts.
Selling
Tap Post and take photos of what you're selling: the listing builds itself with title, category and description. You review it, set the price and it's live.
Photos have to show what you're selling. It won't go live if the photos don't show the item, if they're from another listing, or if it's something that can't be sold. We tell you why by email and in your listings: fix it and publish again.
Yes, one up to 30 seconds long. We review it before showing it, and if it doesn't pass the listing won't go live until you replace or remove it.
From your listings you can edit it, hide it, mark it as sold or sold out, relist it or delete it.
It's free right now: we're launching and nothing is charged, neither for posting nor for the buyers who message you. When that changes, you'll pay only for each buyer who messages you: never for posting, and never a commission on what you sell.
Payments & balance
No. What you get paid for a sale is all yours: Sterlix doesn't process that payment or charge a commission.
What you paid a seller for an item is settled with that person: Sterlix doesn't process those payments. If we charged you something by mistake or twice, write to us and we'll look into it.
Your account
From your account, under Verification: take a photo of your ID and a selfie, and it takes a couple of minutes. Once verified, your account name becomes the one on your ID.
It's almost always the photo: your ID has to be fully visible, sharp and without glare, and the selfie well lit with your face uncovered. You can try again whenever you want.
Your name can't be changed from your account, so nobody can impersonate someone else. Write to us and we'll review it; if you verified your identity, it's the one on your ID.
From Log in, tap Forgot your password? and we'll email you a link. Changing it signs you out of any other devices.
Check spam and promotions: it comes from [email protected]. From the confirmation screen you can ask us to send it again.
From your account, at the bottom, under Delete account. Your profile and listings stop being visible.
Safety
That the person proved their identity with their ID and a selfie, or that a business has an identified owner. It tells you who you're dealing with, it doesn't guarantee the sale: check their reviews too.
Be wary if you're asked to pay in advance to someone unverified, if the price is too good, or if you're rushed to continue the conversation outside Sterlix. For valuable items, meet in a public place and check before paying.
The Report option is on the listing, the profile and the chat. We review it and, depending on how serious it is, we hide the content, restrict the account or suspend it.
Businesses
From the Post button, choose to create a business. It isn't a separate account: you manage it from yours and can add your team.
As soon as one owner verifies their identity, the business is verified. If it's also a registered company, you can prove it and add another badge; that's optional.
